The black Forest-based company Hatec collaborated with Berlin architects Eike Becker and project developers Groß + Partners from Frankfurt to realize one of Germany´s largest OLED projects. At Neue Mainzer Straße 80, a new residential and office complex in Frankfurt am Main, visitors entering the lobby are welcomed by a spectacular OLED lighting installation that sweeps them into the building. Over 1000 luminous OLEDs mixed with close to 500 unlit plates pour down from the ceiling like a waterfall of light. It´s one of the largest OLED projects in Germany and a milestone in architectural lighting design.
