OLED installation in a bank branch
In the shopping center Shoppi Tivoli in Spreitenbach, Switzerland, the newly opened MyNAB Shop combines proven personal banking advice with modern technology. An OLED light wall installation reacts to visitors with gentle waves of light and guides them into the rear area of the bank branch, where a large-scale video wall presents products from the MyNAB Premium World in both analog and digital form.
iart planned and implemented the media installations in the new bank branch and was also responsible for the light effects and content being shown. The concept and interior architectural design of the MyNAB shop was developed by Bureau Hindermann.
Each of the 330 modules in the wall installation consists of two square Lumiblade Brite FL300 ww: one faces into the room, the second is directed in the opposite direction towards the wall. The installation reflects movement through light, whilst also creating a pleasant lighting atmosphere. If the front OLED light panel lights up, the rear panel automatically dims. The amount of light in the room remains – despite animation – constant. This flokk-concept was developed within a CTI research project on the innovation potential of OLED as a light source.
