The interactive OLED light-sound-installation Light Cloud at Merck‘s new Innovation Center in Darmstadt, Germany, combines light with movement and sound. The light of 576 doubled-sided OLEDWorks OLEDs creates a new kind of lighting experience for each visitor who enters the room. Light Cloud interacts directly with visitors. The sculpture captures the movement of people within the space and translates it into a unique light and sound atmosphere. It has won the reddot award 2018 as well as the German Design award 2019.
