Light + Building 2022 Experiences OLED Lighting at OLEDWorks Booth

Last week, our team traveled to Messe Frankfurt to exhibit at Light + Building 2022. One of the largest lighting shows in the world, Light + Building has been postponed since 2018 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We are thrilled to be back at the show and able to exhibit again!

OLED Lighting: For Transportation and Beyond

One of the exciting hallmarks of this event is the wide range of industry professionals that flock to Frankfurt biennially to participate. In Hall 8.0, Stand G39, OLEDWorks demonstrated OLED lighting capabilities ranging from commercial lighting to automotive lighting, aerospace, marine applications, and more.

The team at Audi graciously lent us their complete rear model demonstrator of the A6 e-tron concept vehicle, featuring rear OLED lighting technology. This concept features a significant increase in the number of OLED segments from what is currently on the road, increasing the communication capabilities of the vehicle.

The OLED Lighting Experience

Seeing is believing, and the best way to understand OLED lighting quality is to experience this revolutionary illumination yourself. Featuring the Olessence™ fixture by Peerless, an Acuity Brands company, the purpose of the OLED Experience Room was to provide an escape for conference attendees from the hectic tradeshow floor, complete with comfortable and soft OLED lighting. Guests were able to sit back and relax under naturally uniform and diffuse lighting fixtures in a moment of Zen.

Like every tradeshow, our favorite part is getting to share the beauty and performance of OLED lighting with veterans and new fans alike. Our knowledgeable experts answered questions, debunked myths, showcased the capabilities of OLED lighting today, and offered a glimpse into the future.
